Adam Lambert arrested in Finland
December 23rd, 2011 - 12:48 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattHelsinki, Dec 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) American Idol star Adam Lambert spent several hours in a Finish jail on Thursday after he reportedly got into a physical brawl with his boyfriend Sauli Koskinen. The two were reportedly drunk after they emerged from a famous gay bar in the country.
Police say they arrested the two men at the famous club DTM (Don’t Tell Mama) at about 4 a.m. on Thursday. Local media reports say the two men started the fight inside the bar and continued when they were thrown out of the bar.
The two were at the bar with former Finish beauty queen Sofia Ruusila. During an interview with a local network after the incident, Sofia revealed that when she tried to separate the two men, Lambert accidentally punched her in the face. The two men however continued to fight until they were arrested and thrown into jail.
Lambert is currently being investigated and it is not clear if the authorities will allow him to get back to the United States anytime soon.
Lambert later wrote on his Twitter page that, “Jetlag+Vodka=blackout. Us÷blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned.Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it. :)”
Sauli agreed with that saying that “hangover is gone already.” The two were released on Thursday afternoon.
