adamLos Angeles, Oct 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert released the album cover of his new album “For Your Entertainment” to the press and since then it has been embroiled in controversy. The cover has been stirring up quite a hornet’s nest as some people absolutely despise it. One fan said: “It looks like a ‘Bizzaro world’ version of a Marilyn Manson album cover.”

Lambert’s new album is going to release on November 23, 2009. The album is called “For Your Entertainment”. Currently, the fans and his detractors are getting a lot of entertainment out of the album cover, as it is quite critical in nature. It’s a photo of Lambert wearing a lot of makeup and blue hair. He is wearing some wacky gloves, along with earrings, and the background is outer space, which just so happens matches his hair.

A lot of fans are saying that the photo makes me look like a cross dresser, many are also saying he looks gorgeous. A lot of fans seem to be worried that heterosexual people might be turned off not buy it because of its cover.

Lambert defends it by saying that, “the album would sound like a “time-capsule blasted off into space and you’re watching it through a holographic filter”.

It seems like a publicity bit, when he says that, “For those that don’t get it: oh well…Glad to have gotten your attention,” Adam added. “Androgyny. Rock n Roll.”

The ‘fans’ that don’t like the cover… are not fans. It’s sooo Adam. I looooove the cover. He delivered - win!! Can’t wait for my pre-ordered CD to arrive from Amazon.com.
