Zsa Zsa Gabor spitting blood, rushed to hospital
February 2nd, 2011 - 2:38 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Feb 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actress Zsa Zsa Gabor needed to be taken to the hospital because she started spitting blood. She was taken to the hospital for medical aid on Tuesday morning. Her spokesperson John Blanchette confirmed the news. Her husband - Prince Frederic Von Anhalt, said that there was “lots of blood coming out of her mouth”.
It may be recalled that Zsa Zsa had spent a long time at the hospital last month and her right leg also needed to be amputated because of a severe infection. After her leg amputation surgery, Dr. David Rigberg, who is an associate professor of vascular surgery had said that, “The surgery today went well, however, she is in frail health so we will continue to monitor her closely.”
Prior to amputating her leg, the doctors had tried their best to treat her infection with antibiotics, but that strategy didn’t work out, so they were left with no option but to cut the infected leg off, in a bid to save her life.
Last year, the actress also had a hip replacement surgery and after that she has been hospitalized numerous times for a number of issues.
