Actress Samantha in remake of ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’

Filmmaker Gowtham Menon has roped in actress Samantha for the Telugu remake of “Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’. Gowtham approached the actress, who has made her debut with Aascar Ravichandran’s “Moscowin Kaveri’, and she has signed the deal.
The Telugu version of “Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’ features Nagarjuna’s son Naga Chaitanya in lead role. After a long search of new faces, Gowtham has zeroed down on Samantha, who has already completed shooting for couple of films, which are ready to hit screens shortly.
“Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’ features Silambarasan, Trisha in lead roles while both the versions will have academy award winner A.R. Rahman scoring music.
