Actress Robin Wright might join the cast of ‘Dragon Tattoo’
August 6th, 2010 - 11:27 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Aug 6 (THAINDIAN NEWS) There is a buzz in the air that actress Robin Wright is planning to join the cast of the movie ‘Dragon Tattoo’. This movie is going to be the adaptation of David Fincher of the book – ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’.
Presently the meetings between the actress and the producers are currently on, and if the deal goes through then she would portray the character of ‘Erika Berger’ opposite protagonist Mikael Blomkvist, which will be portrayed by the James Bond star – Daniel Craig. Erika Berger is a magazine publisher, who is also the lover of Mikael. The movie is slated to be released on the 21st of December 2011.
Presently she is involved in shooting for the movie Moneyball opposite Brad Pitt.
‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ is followed by two more books and if Robin plays the character in the first movie then there is quite a chance that the deal would cover the other two movies as well, which would be based on the other two books in the series. However it ought to be mentioned that there has been no official comment from either CAA or Sony Pictures on the issue.
