Sep 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actress Nancy Cartwright who has given her voice to Bart Simpson on the Fox hit show ‘The Simpsons’ has been sued by an insurance company for $260,000. The reason behind the lawsuit is her association with her ex-fiancé’s construction company.

The company claims that the actress owes this money for the uncompleted work that was undertaken by her ex-fiancé.

According to earlier in 2009 the actress ex-fiancé, Stephen Brackett’s insurance company filed the bankruptcy report after his suicide. According to the lawsuit, “its client was forced into bankruptcy as a result of Cartwright’s fiancé committing suicide before his construction company was able to complete a job for them.”

The insurance company claims that Brackett entered into a contract with off vine restaurant to fix their construction work. After his suicide, the company was not able to complete the project and was sued by the American Safety Casualty Insurance Company. Now the ASCIC states that Nancy Cartwright had financial interest in the Brackkett’s construction company and with respect to that she is liable for uncompleted project and need to reimburse the money.

The lawsuit sates that Brackett diverted the funds from the off vine restaurant project to the Church of Scientology. And it’s reported that both Brackett and Nancy Cartwright were the members of the same.
