Yahoo news reported that the teen star Miley Cyrus died in a major car accident Friday morning in Los Angeles, California.

This report is a hoax and it appears that the teen sensation Miley Cyrus is pretty much alive. The report in question was made by some pranksters and published on wikipedia and publicized at digg.com . The fake screen shot showed the news as if it were on Yahoo News via Reuters.

As per the report Miley Cyrus, the 15 year-old star was reported dead in a fatal car crash on the way to the set of Hannah Montana. The young starlet was on her way to the filming of the upcoming “Hannah Montana” Series when her vehicle was reportedly hit by a large truck.

The story stated witnesses claiming that the vehicle was traveling at least 55 mph and had ‘Run a stop sign’

The actress was said to be taken to Pacific Alliance Medical Centre shortly after the accident.

The story also talked about American Association of Youth Grief Counselors, AAYGC, launch of a major public outreach campaign in the wake of Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus’ untimely death. In order to help young children to cope with Cyrus death.

Dr. Mysenberger, AAYGC chairman says that age-appropriate grief interventions are important for assuring the mental well-being and psychological safety of young children. Untimely and public tragedies like Cyrus’ death place a great deal of pressure on parents to respond appropriately.
