Actress Manorama denies rumors on becoming God Woman

May 18, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Recently actress Manorama underwent a surgery in the knee cap and after this she is taking rest. There was news that she is going to become a self styled God woman and that is the reason she has tonsured her head at Tirupathi. Manorama has now issued a statement with regard to this.
She has stated,” For the last 52 years I have acted in more than 1300 films. In recent, there is news about me which is not true. My feelings are hurt because of such kind of news. There is also lot of confusion among the fans because of such kind of news. I request to put a full stop to this.”
Actress Manorama has won critical acclaims for her best performance in “Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam’. Also, she is awaiting the release of her upcoming film “Singam’ that features her in a prominent role. “Singam’ has Surya and hottie Anushka donning the lead roles and Prakash Raj as the baddie. Hari has handled story, screenplay and dialogues apart from directing this film that is produced by Surya’s home banner Studio Green Films.
