Actress Jaime Pressly owes back taxes to the IRS

Los Angeles, Jan 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jaime Pressly is under investigation from the IRS after failing to pay up her taxes.
Latest documents revealed that the actress owes about $637,000 in taxes. The IRS issued a $267,370 tax lien against the star on the 6th day of December. The actress also has an outstanding $281,699 which the IRS filed about three months earlier. The amount was from her 2008 income taxes. The state of California also wants its pound of flesh. The state also filed a $95,080 lien back in the 21st day of June in Los Angeles.
The latest bad news comes shortly after the shadows of other problems that the “My Name Is Earl” has faced. The 33-year-old’s marriage to her lawyer husband, Simran Singh is reportedly on the rocks and the pair has separated. The two married in September 2009.
Jaime was also arrested earlier this month for drunk driving. She was initially stopped for traffic violation but the officers later arrested her on suspicion of drunk driving. The star has currently been released on a $15,000 bail. She is due in court on the 7th day of February to defend herself against the drunken driving charges.
