Nov 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “Raging Bull” actress Cathy Moriarty seems to have landed herself in trouble as the media outlets reported that the actress has been involved in a hit-and-run investigation. A reputed media source reported that the actress hit a Volvo in New York and then ran from the scene. However, neither the actress nor his representative has commented anything about this to the media.

If the reports are to be believed, then Cathy Moriarty crashed a car into another vehicle and then sped off from the place. It has been reported that the law enforcement officials are presently investigating the whole matter and as a result the actress has come under scanner. The actress was reportedly driving her silver Chrysler in New York last month when she crashed her car into a Volvo. The media outlets could not report any injuries owing to the accident. A gossip portal reported that the law enforcement officials visited her home and they found her car. The car was reportedly damaged in its front which led the law enforcement believe the whole news.

Cathy Moriarty’s representatives were unavailable for any comments and also it is not clear if she has hired any attorney. The much-acclaimed was nominated for Academy Award For Best Supporting Actress for her wonderful performance in “Raging Bull” in 1980. This movie earned her fame and recognition and later she entertained her audience with movies like “Casper”, “Cop Land,” among others. Most recently she appeared in the movie “The Bounty Hunter” along with Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler.
