Actress Amber Heard Comes Out In The 25th Anniversary Of GLAAD

Dec 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The 25th anniversary of The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) witnessed who’s who of the entertainment fraternity walking the red carpet with elan. The cocktail party at Harmony Gold Theatre in Los Angeles saw actress Amber Heard walking the red carpet with her lesbian partner Tasya van Ree. Amber Heard openly came out of her closet and proudly proclaimed her orientation in front of shutterbugs and the guests.
The event was attended by Chaz Bono, Jean Smart and also Ed Begley Jr. who gave their views about how present society treats gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. Amber Heard told a reputed media source that if she would have remained closeted she would also been denying millions of hard-working and tax-paying Americans their rights. The “Never Back Down” actress said that she feels GLAAD is the perfect platform for her to come out. Tasya van Ree is artist and photographer by profession. When asked about her partner, she said that Tasya van Ree is beautiful. She said that anybody would want to go out on a date with Tasya van Ree. The couple told the media outlets that both of them have been dating since 2008.
This is for the first time that Amber Heard spoke openly about her sexuality. She said that she is happy the way she is and she feels that if someone denies or hides something then he is doing wrong to himself and not to any other else. In the end, Amber Heard said that she feels she is not wrong like million other people who could speak the truth for themselves.
