Washington, Jan 7(ANI): Hollywood superstar Halle Berry defended her role in the movie Catwoman saying that is difficult for actors to predict the fate of a film.

Catwoman that released in 2004 was highly criticized by reviewers and collapsed at the box office with just a 42 million dollars collection even less than half of the original budget

However, the 41-year-old star remains positive about the experience, and insisted that she couldn’t have predicted the film would flop.

“It was definitely different from any other (movie) I had seen. I thought that we needed a better villain, but I was outnumbered in that area, Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

“You just never know how people are going to respond. I thought that Monster’s Ball was going to end my career. And look what happened. You just never know,” she added.

The film had also won four Golden Raspberry Awards in 2005 for Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay and Worst Actress that Berry collected in person. (ANI)
