Los Angeles, Mar 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Tony Hale has resurfaced in a new movie. The “Arrested Development” star this time around plays the role of Sam #2 in Josh Radnor’s “happythankyoumoreplease”.

Hale spoke about the new role that he is going to play. During an interview Hale said that, “Buster(his ‘Arrested Development’ character) was definitely a mental case. He was so fun to play. But Sam #2 was just a sweet guy, and I loved the fact that he treasured Malin beyond what she saw herself as.”

The 40-year-old was given the role after he read the script of the movie. When he was approached to play the role, Hale admitted that he loved the character that he was given to play so it was a ‘win-win’ situation for him to play in the movie. He revealed that he spent about eight years in New York prior to the movie.

Hale has struggled previously to have roles in movie. Though his 1999 ad for Volkswagen was highly successful, it took Hale more than six years to make the transition to the small and giant screens.

Hale is linked to an upcoming MTV show, “Good Vibes.” His famous role though has to be his play in the ‘Arrested Development’ movie.
