Jan 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Much acclaimed actor Rob Lowe is hitting headlines lately, as he is all set to depart from the popular American television drama “Brothers & Sisters”. The news that the reputed actor would be quitting the ABC show has been confirmed by his publicist who has also added that the actor would be leaving the series after the conclusion of the current season. Moreover, ABC network officials have revealed that they are in discussion with Rob Lowe, who might be seen hosting his own show in the network. Steve McPherson, the entertainment president of the network has stated that they intend to keep the actor associated with the network.
According to certain reports, Rob Lowe took the decision of quitting the television drama as he felt that his role lacked prominence in the show and at the same time the character was also not being given enough screen time. However, this is not the first time that actor has taken the decision of departing from a show for not playing a pivotal role. In the year 2003, Rob Lowe exited the television series “The West Wing” to be a part of the television series “The Lyon’s Den”, which did not turn out to be a success as it was terminated after airing only six episodes.
Rob Lowe has been associated with the series “Brothers & Sisters” soon after the show started airing in the year 2006. Since then the television drama, which tracks the lives of the high class Walker family, has gained immense popularity and gradually emerged as one of the leading shows on ABC network.
