Patrick Swayze, the ravishing US actor, who shot to fame with Hollywood blockbusters like “Ghost” and “Dirty Dancing”, reportedly died on Monday, according to Swayze’s publicist. He was 57.

Annett Wolf said that the actor who had been battling over a pancreatic cancer for the past 20 months took his last breathe on Monday. Inside sources reveal that Swayze was diagnosed with advanced stage four pancreatic cancer in last year. After six months since he was diagnosed with cancer, Mr.Swayze was seen smiling at the photographers as he called himself “the miracle dude”. He was also planning to star in “The Beast”, a new drama series for A&E, as he was undergoing treatment. He even insisted on continuing with the series.

Jennifer Grey, who co-starred with Swayze in the hit movie “Dirty Dancing” reportedly said, “Patrick was a rare and beautiful combination of raw masculinity and amazing grace. Gorgeous and strong, he was a real cowboy with a tender heart. He was fearless and always insisted of doing his own stunts, so it was not surprising for me that the war he waged on his cancer was so courageous and dignified.” “But the thing I will remember him most was for his love affair with his wife Lisa,” Jennifer added.

Ashton Kutcher, whose wife Demi Moore had co-starred with Swayze in the Hollywood blockbuster “Ghost”, tweeted: “RIP P Swayze”.

Swayze, who also starred in gritty action movies like “Road House” is said to have battled the severe pancreatic cancer that he was suffering from, in the bravest of manner.
