Jan 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The popular and very handsome, “Touched By an Angel” star, John Dye passed away on Monday. His brother, Jerre Dye, said that the actor succumbed to a massive cardiac arrest, and left his last breathe in his San Francisco home. John Dye is survived by his father, Jim Dye and two brothers Jerre Dye and Jamey Dye. Although the mishap took place on Monday, the family preferred to keep in inconspicuous until they organized his memorial in Mississippi.

His funeral would take place at E.E. Pickle funeral home in Aromy. His death came up as a huge shock to many people, as the actor was only 47-year-old. His co-actress, Valerie Bertinelli took to Twitter to express her grief and said that may her friend’s soul rest in peace. His father told a reputed source that he often kept on asking his son to not to take too much work load, as he was too hard working. He had even asked him to ’slow down’ but he did not. The old man thinks that perhaps that is the reason why his heart stopped functioning at such a young age. Jim Dye also said that his son was very warm and philanthropic and loved social services. He was part of the Make a Wish Foundation, AIDS research.

John Dye’s presence was very inviting and pleasant to most of the people who knew him, as he was warm and considerate, said his old father. However, the actor had one philosophy in life. He said in one of his past interviews that the more he enjoys his own work, the audience would retaliate it back and that is what never stopped his from chasing his passion for acting. However, he did not know, that he could only delight his fans for a short span of time.
