NEW YORK (BNO NEWS) – Actor Charlie Sheen was hospitalized in the early hours of Tuesday morning due to a medical emergency, TMZ reported.

Sheen, 45, was in New York City when he was admitted into a nearby hospital due to a medical emergency after being reportedly drunk and naked in his hotel room at around 2 a.m. EDT.

Reports say that chairs had been thrown around the room and a chandelier was damaged when security was called. Sheen, according to reports, was seen going back to his hotel room with an unidentified woman, but became extremely angry after noting that his wallet was missing.

At around 2:00 a.m. EDT, a 911 emergency dispatch received a phone call regarding a possible intoxication, which turned out to be Sheen.

Sheen, who first received international attention for his role in the Vietnam War drama “Platoon,” was admitted into New York Hospital at around 2:30 a.m. EDT, and according to police, an “intoxicated” Sheen voluntarily arrived “irrational” and “emotionally disturbed.”
