Actor Alec Baldwin heading back to Broadway with ‘Born Yesterday’

Alec Baldwin Los Angeles, Aug 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Alec Baldwin fans who are theatre lovers as well, can rejoice. And that is because the actor is all set to head back to Broadway with the play ‘Born Yesterday’.

According to the New York Post, on Monday, the star was present at a reading of the Garson Kanin’s revival play Born Yesterday. In the play he would enact the character of a corrupt businessman who goes by the name of Harry Brock. At the reading, Josh Charles was also present. According to reports, the director of the play is Doug Hughes and he would direct the play in the spring of 2011.

Meanwhile Alec Baldwin had recently confessed that he is planning to leave the show 30 Rock after his contract with the team expires. Even though he attained a lot of critical acclaim for the role including some Emmy nominations, yet he feels that it is time to bid adieu to the show after his contract expires.

Sometime back the actor had reportedly said that, “As much as I like acting. I know that I would love to have a different life. A private life. I think that doing this now for a living has become really, really hard. I would rather go do other things, and with whatever amount of time I have left in my life, have a normal life.”
