Acer rolls out new laptops

September 29, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Recently Acer launched quite a few new models of their Aspire Timeline X series of notebooks. The new range included the highly anticipated Acer Aspire Timeline X1830T. Acer also made a huge breakthrough into the 3D notebook market with their new Acer Aspire 5745Dg laptop with 3D technology.

Although the Acer Aspire Timeline 1830T has been included in the ultraportable range of notebooks, it packs quite a lot of punch with its whopping 1.4GHz Intel Core i7 680 UM ultra low voltage processor. The notebook has a staggering configuration and marks the union of performance with portability. The notebook comes with a 500GB hard disk, 4GB DDR3 memory and integrated Bluetooth adapter. The highly configured Acer Aspire Timeline 1830T-68U118 comes at meager $899.99.

As already mentioned Acer also launched its 3D equipped laptop Aspire 5745DG. The 3D-notebook features Nvidia’s 3D Vision Technology and it comes with the latest core processors from Intel. The notebook also provides a Blu-ray drive. The notebook provides switchable graphics to the users.

The switchable graphics feature allows users to toggle between the discrete and the onboard graphics card of the notebook and helps save power when needed.
