November 21, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Food Network has enunciated that ‘Ace Of Cakes’, its celebrated reality program, will be telecast for the last time in 2011, with that season being the program’s ultimate one. Hence, 2011 will represent the termination of the program for Duff Goldman, who was the unquestioned superstar of the program. Goldman, in real life, is an American cook/ food artist/ baker, who has been classified as ingenious as well as audacious. He is the proprietor of a cake outlet in Baltimore named ‘Charm City Cakes’.

The program will end next year but Food Network, as indicated by the Seattle Post Intelligencer, desires to continue its association with Goldman, who is hugely popular among different segments of the American audience and who was responsible for the program’s popularity.

Bob Tuschman, the General Manager of Food Network, has voiced that the Network and its numberless viewers, even now, are impassionedly in love with Goldman. Therefore, the Network is in the throes of engendering fresh show ideas for him.

Goldman and his chums became renowned as they propelled the cakes’ creation to incredible limits. With every cake order, Goldman attained popular pleas for insaneness. He was once requested to prepare a cake that would be a replica of a motorcycle and a cake that would be mobile.

Upon the sight of these extraordinarily shaped cakes, it would be hard to accept that these cakes were meant to be devoured, such was the amazing ingeniousness associated with the concept of these cakes.

Goldman and his squad at Charm City Cakes are recognized as being so adamant about their cakes that they will only transfer them in their vans up to nearly 4 to 6 hours away from the Baltimore zone. They also need a lead time of 1-2 months to manufacture a cake for one’s special occasion.

‘Ace of Cakes’ revolves around the daily business and major cake productions of ‘Charm City Cakes’ in Baltimore and debuted on the network in 2006. The impending season will be the program’s tenth and will supposedly depict the building of a significant Delorean time machine cake fashioned particularly for a ‘Back to the Future’ 25th anniversary happening.
