Abu Dhabi film fest invites entries for fifth edition
April 7th, 2011 - 12:10 am ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, April 6 (IANS/WAM) The Abu Dhabi Film Festival has called for entries for its fifth edition Oct 13-22.
The festival will accept feature and documentary films for its competitive and non-competitive sections. Over $1 million in cash prizes will be up for grabs.
This edition will feature narrative, documentary, Afaq Jadida (New Horizons) and short film competitions.
The environmental section: What in the World Are We Doing to Our World? - has a cash prize of $15,000. The film in this category will seek to broaden awareness on the subject.
