Dec. 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The pop band “Boyz ll Men” was the musical guest band in the finale of the reality show “Sing Off.” Their performance was great, as usual, but what was really noticeable was the fact that the fourth member of the band was not present in the group. All the other three members of the band were present in the performance, but Michael McCary, the bass singer of the group, was conspicuous by his absence.

Most of the members in the audience were surprised by the absence of the singer, and obvious question that rippled through the throng was whether the band had gone through a break up recently, something not uncommon in Hollywood musical circles. What seemed even more surprising was the fact that even the judge, Shawn Stockman, did not explain, even in passing, this anomaly. It flabbergasted the audience even more, as they had naturally expected an explanation of the matter, specially considering that the judge himself is a member of the band “Boyz ll Men.”

Again, the ignorance about the bass singer of the band, Michael McCary, only goes on to prove that the band had not quite been in the hottest music scenario in Hollywood. Once one of the biggest in the all boy band category, the four member band “Boyz ll Men” has consisted of Wanya Morris, Shawn Stockman and Nathan Stockman for quite some time now, almost six years, ever since Michael McCary had left the group due to acute pain from Scoliosis. That the audience were quite ignorant of this fact drives home the fact that the band had become quite low key.
