Washington, Feb 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The official trailer of Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter has been released. The 1:22 video gives a glimpse of the movie which is scheduled to be released in the theaters this summer.

The movie is not based on historical facts. It is based on the novel by Seth Grahame-Smith and features Benjamin Walker who played the role of the former US President.

Ahead of the release of the trailer, some selected pressmen were taken through the home of Lincoln in Springfield, IL. The reporters were given exclusive access to all restricted areas of the house including the heavily guarded vault of the 16th President of the United States.

With the expectation that the project will be a success, the newsmen asked if there will be a sequel to the first movie. To that question, Grahame-Smith replied that, “The short answer is yes, absolutely. If you read the book there’s an epilogue that leaves things open to that. In the film, without giving anything away, we don’t definitively end the origin story. We leave, not only a mentor story, but also possibly a Lincoln story open.”

The filmmakers revealed that they will use different versions of Lincoln’s life to make the subsequent movies.
