The summer of 2009 had viewers gathering around the television sets enjoying a half hour of falls, screams and the big red balls. The summer of 2010 will be spent the same way since the ABC hit summer series Wipe Out is back on the air.

Contestants battle it out on a grueling obstacle course that is constructed over water. The course consist of the dreaded big red balls that bounces the contender from one ball to another in order to continue to the next portion of the obstacle. This week they have added huge red pendulum swings, tricky steps and hoops that must be jumped through while running through the course.

Competitors start out one at a time at the beginning of the course the fastest twelve rivals advance on. The now twelve contestants compete together on an obstacle to narrow it down to six. Those no w six opponents individually race for the best time on an obstacle that has them jumping over a sweeper arm, ducking as things are thrown at them and bouncing to victory. Wipe Out now has the final three competitors who will face the most exhausting obstacle of all for a chance to win $50,000.

The course will now catapult them into the ridged water, from which they now swim over to the spin cycle (a large round spinning disc that is filled with foam) once they have made it through the spin cycle they must face the sweeper arms (several of them), victory is so close. A few more bumps and bruises and the winner is Carrie Kiker, aka Complaint Girl Kiker a name that the host dubbed her. Her wining time for completing the challenge was under 10 minutes, Congratulations Carrie!
