Jan 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) While NBC is busy trying to resolve the conflict with its popular show hosts, rival ABC Networks has other plans [to woo the viewers] up its sleeves. Stephen McPherson of ABC refused to say anything on the Jay Leno-Conan O’Brien gossips that are doing the rounds on the web. However, he did talk about the network’s new plans to stress on the show hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. He further said that Jimmy Kimmel is valuable to the network. His comic sense is exceptional and ABC wants to utilize that to its advantage. The recent success of the network’s comedy centric programs has motivated the managing board to think on the subject.

ABC is going to adopt new promotions for highlighting the show of Jimmy Kimmel. However, the ABC spokespersons have denied that the new marketing plan has got anything to do with the controversies NBC has got entangled in the recent times. Fox network on the other hand will try to lure Conan O’ Brien from NBC as the host has already expressed his disappointment with the new timing of NBC. The ABC spokespersons have said that there is no plan to alter their show timings as of now.

The cold war between various broadcasting networks is not a new thing in the industry. However, ABC maintains that it will not follow the path of the rival networks and stick to its own promotional strategy. Recently Jimmy Kimmel did a spoof on Jay Leno on his show which amused the viewers. He expressed his solidarity for the jinxed host Conan O’ Brien as well.
