Aug 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The much anticipated television series “Melissa & Joey” premiered last night on ABC Family at 8 p.m. The new television drama series is created and written by David Kendell and Bob Young. Joey Lawrence and Melissa Joan Hart were seen delivering their best performance.

Joey Lawrence and Melissa Joan Hart are seen for the second time after ABC Family sitcom after “My Fake Fiance”. The “Blossom” actor in one of his interviews said that he has always wanted to play a character like Joe is excited to be a part of the series. Melissa Joan Hart who plays Melissa “Mel” Burke in the series in her interview said that she hopes with this new sitcom she will be able to come out of her teenage girl image. Melissa Joan Hart plays the role of a highly fashionable urban woman who lives her life amidst comfort and luxuries.

The story takes its turn when Mel has to take custody of her nephew, Ryder and niece, Lennox after her brother and his wife lands in jail for financial trouble. Mel finds it difficult to handle the adolescent kids and her career as a politician. Joey Lawrence, who plays Joseph “Joe” Lando suddenly appears in her home for a job as he is presently jobless owing to her brother’s thefts. Mel appoints him as her family’s nanny. Amidst all the twists and turns the show managed to entertain the audience with its witty dialogues and overall the manner in which the events unfolded ensured that the viewers have a gala time watching the episode.
