Oct 3 (THAINDIAN NEWS) After just two episodes, ABC has canceled its documentary-style drama “My Generation”. It is not readily clear what program the network intends to replace the program with. The program was the lead-in for “Grey’s Anatomy” on Thursdays.

The program premiered weakly and its second episode was even worse with 3.1 percent drop in audience. There were only 3.9 million viewers for the show on Thursday with 1.1 adult rating.

The series is the second series to be removed from the network this week. The other series, Fox’s “Lone Star” was also axed from the network and the list might be longer than that in the coming weeks, because some other series on the network are also struggling as well. Series like, “The Whole Truth” and “Outlaw” are barely surviving on the network in what can be described as walking a fine line between cancellation and renewal of contract.

“The Whole Truth” is a legal series that is shown on ABC on Wednesdays while “Outlaw” airs on the network on Fridays. There are several series on American televisions thus there is a fierce competition present between the channels to grab the eyeballs.
