Abbie Cornish delights all in ‘Sucker Punch’

The movie is set to open in cinemas in the United States this weekend. The movie’s director, Zack Snyder, granted an insight into the movie to USA Today. During the interview Snyder said that Cornish was very eager to impress with her action and physical moves.
Snyder said that, “She came so eager to get physical and be physical. I think people will be surprised to see how much an action star she can be.”
“Sucker Punch” is about a wicked stepfather’s treatment of a young girl. Prior to the production of the movie, Cornish reportedly trained for martial arts, gun use and sword work. The moves of Cornish in the movie impressed Snyder so much that he promises those who would watch the movie that they will be ‘surprised’.
45-year-old Cornish is currently filming her latest role in the movie called “Limitless”. The movie also features Robert De Niro and is expected to be out later in the year.
Cornish has starred in several movies including “Somersault” and “Stop-Loss”.
