ABBA & Genesis make it to Hall Of Fame’s class of 2010

London, Dec 16 (ANI): Swedish pop icons ABBA and rockers Genesis and The Stooges have made it to the list of bands to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2010.

The stars, along with Jamaican reggae artist Jimmy Cliff and 1960s rock group The Hollies, were unveiled as the latest honourees on Tuesday (15Dec09).

All the artists will be inducted into the Cleveland, Ohio hall alongside record company executive David Geffen, and songwriters including Otis Blackwell and Jesse Stone.

The acts will be honoured at the 25th annual induction ceremony on 15 March (10) in New York.

Nominations for the prestigious accolades were announced in September (09), reports The Daily Express.

However, rockers KISS and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and rapper LL Cool J could not make the cut. (ANI)
