July 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jennifer Saunders of the “Absolutely Fabulous” fame has just completed her treatment of breast cancer. Reports suggest that Britain’s favorite comedian has been suffering from the deadly disease since last year and though the “Ab Fab” star likes maintaining a low profile and has never spoken to the media about issues of her illness, it is known that she has been under medication since the month of October last year.

Jennifer Saunders was recently photographed in southern France where the 52 year old actress was attending the Wimbledon as well as a birthday bash of one of her friends. The photographs show the comedian in a new close cropped hairdo. The latest reports that have been circulating in the media after the release of the photographs suggest that Jennifer Saunders is much better now and is showing quick signs of recovery after the medication. However, the lady herself was not available for comment. A spokeswoman for Jennifer Saunders too announced that the actress will never speak about her experiences of battling with cancer on national television at any point of time in the future.

Jennifer Saunders is best known for her role of a London based public relations executive in the British sitcom “Absolutely Fabulous.” The “Ab Fab” series as it was popularly called made her a household name for many a season starting from 1992. However, Jennifer Saunders has also been a screenplay writer in the long span of her career and has also appeared in one of the commercials of a Marks and Spencer store along with friend Joanna Lumley.
