Aug 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Los Angeles based food blogger Aarti Sequeira was declared the winner of the sixth season of the highly-popular cooking reality show on Food Network “The Next Food Network Star” in the finale that was aired last night. The contestant who earned accolades with her culinary skills from the judges as well as the viewers throughout the season, ultimately turned out to be the winner of the reality series by beating the other two contestants Herb Mesa and Tom Pizzica.

The final challenge of the reality show required the contestants to tape a three-minute pilot which was coached by Racheal Ray while a focus group was assigned the judging responsibilities who evaluated each of the program. In this challenge, Aarti Sequeira was able to clinch victory as she was able to impress the focus group who thought that the food blogger seemed to be quite comfortable on camera although many felt that she did not look into the camera frequently. Not only did the New Jersey native win the much coveted title, with the victory Aarti Sequeira also ensured that she gets to have her very own show in the network.

Although the other two contestants were able earn appreciation with their culinary talents, ultimately it was the 31-year-old food blogger who garnered maximum attention with her distinct style of cooking. In the show, Aarti Sequeira grabbed many eyeballs with her unique skill of blending Indian flavors with American cooking. The viewers of the show can’t wait to catch the upcoming program “Aarti Paarti” which is scheduled to make its debut on the network next week.
