The widow of John Lennon got so carried away by his performance in the film that she wrote a lengthy letter praising the movie and his sterling performance. The actor sounded overwhelmed by the honor. He also feels happy since he put a lot of labor and researched a lot for the role.

‘Nowhere Boy’ portrays the turbulent time the singer had to go through when he was a teenager. He admits that the role intimidated him to an extent when he was offered it.
