Aaron Eckhart's 'Dark Knight' dreams Aaron Eckhart played the role of “Harvey Dent and his alter ego, the villainous “Two-Face’ in the 2008 blockbuster “The Dark Knight’.
His character appeared to have been killed in the movie but the man wishes to make a comeback as the same character and is trying to convince the director Christopher Nolan to revive him and take him in the sequel.
He’s trying his best to make the director bring his Two-Face character back from the dead.
The “Thank You for Smoking’ and “Possession’ actor said, “I think I’ve talked myself out of the job. I thought I’d died. But you know America’s grown up on soap operas and reinventing people so why doesn’t Chris take that into consideration when he’s writing the script.”
Though he admitted that he would love to join the cast of Batman’s third sequel, he also maintained that he will understand if the director decides not to pick up where “The Dark Knight’ left off in order to pay respect to the late Heath Ledger, who got a posthumous Oscar for his role as The Joker.
The young Ledger had died from an accidental drug overdose in January 2008.
He added: “If Chris asked me back, I would love to. Heath really was meant to come back as The Joker (for the next movie) as we all would want him to do so maybe this will be the way it is and be its own little thing”.
