‘Aapki Antara’ Lead Returns With Sony Show

July 14, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): We’ve seen her play an autist in “Aapki Antara’, Mumbai girl Anjum Farooki will be all healthy and fine in Sagar Arts upcoming show on Sony.
According to sources, Anjum Farooki has almost been finalized to play the lead in this Sagar Arts show. Though, a social drama, the show will have some mythological angle to it.The show will be entirely shot in Baroda. Dheeraj Dhooper, who was seen in Rajan Shahi’s “Swarg’, has been offered the lead role. However, he’s facing some personal problem, which required him to return to his home in Delhi. There’s a possibility that he might not figure in the show. Gavie Chahal, who was seen in “Mohe Rang De’, has also been offered a pivotal role.
When contacted, Anjum Farooki claimed that nothing is finalized yet. Meanwhile, Chahal claimed to have received the offer, but he hasn’t given his nod for it yet.
This show is expected to go on air in over a month’s time.
Farooki was briefly seen as the grown up Antara in Zee show “Aapki Antara’. Unforutnaely, the Zee show didn’t last long after the leap.
