Aanchal, Himanshoo To Revive ‘Jab We Met’ In Television

August 2, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Star Plus is going to revive big screen super hit “Jab We Met’ with its new show, which is loosely based on this Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor starrer blockbuster. Television Actress Aanchal Sabharwal, who was last seen in Sony Entertainment Television’s show “Bhaskar Bharti’, will be playing the female lead in the show.
The male lead in the show will be essayed by actor Himanshoo Malhotra, who was last seen in Sony’s show “Seven’ and Zee TV’s “Aapki Antara’. In fact, Himanshoo was the second choice for the role. Initially, Kinshuk Mahajan of “Bidaai’ fame was approached to play the male lead. But Himanshoo got luckier to play the role, which was played by Shahid Kapoor in the film.
It will be interesting to see if the two actors become successful to revive the chemistry of the hit couple Shahid and Kareena!
