Aamir Khan To Do Farhan Akhtar’s Next

November 2, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Bollywood perfectionist Aamir Khan is back to doing what he is best at - acting. It was earlier reported that the actor will take a break from acting in films this year, concentrating on production work instead. However, it is now being reported that Aamir Khan has signed his first film of 2010. The lucky banner is Farhan Akhtar’s production house, claims reports. Farhan Akhtar himself has confirmed the news while speaking to the media, saying that he is proud of the reunion with Aamir Khan after his directorial debut Dil Chahta Hai.
The yet to be titled film will be directed by Reema Kagti, says the media sources. This puts a rest to all speculations about Aamir Khan’s rumored association with Aditya Chopra’s Dhoom 3 and Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Dreams. The upcoming Aamir Khan venture has been penned by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar and while the remaining cast has not been named yet, reports claim that the suspense thriller will star two leading actresses opposite Aamir Khan.
In a statement to the media, Aamir Khan confirms that he has completed work on his production venture Peepli Live and that he found the script of the Reema Kagti film interesting and therefore could not say no. Work on the film will begin early next year.
