A Taj Mahal that you can eat
April 2nd, 2010 - 5:48 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, April 2(IANS) Want a piece of Taj Mahal? just dig into master chocolatier Adelbert Bucher’s replica made of white chocolate.
“Taj Mahal doesn’t need any introduction. Everyone knows about it. So when we were deciding which piece of history should be converted into a chocolate delight, this wonder just fit into place,” Bucher told IANS at the unveiling of Taj Mahal’s chocolate replica Thursday.
The replica, made by Lindt Swiss chocolates, is 1×1 metre in dimension. It took Bucher three days to form the full structure and one month to implement the idea.
As Bucher hasn’t visited the Taj Mahal in Agra, he took the help of Google to make the chocolate structure.
“Thanks to Google, the replica is perfect. But personally, I wish I can visit the place. I am sure if not this time, I will make it some other day,” Bucher said.
Bucher has also made a replica of Mumbai’s Bandra-Worli sea link.
