The company, Bollywood Blu-ray DVD headed by Mr. Anil Khakharia is making a platform available for sale of existing and forthcoming wide range of blu-ray discs from Indian Home Entertainment companies. Through their e-commerce website they are pushing online sales of Blu-ray discs in India.
Mr. Anil Khakharia, Company Head of Bollywood Blu-ray DVD, tells us, “For multiplying online sales of high definition blu-ray discs of Hollywood and Bollywood films, we are entering into a tie up with almost every single blu-ray manufacturing company in India. We are creating a platform for online buyers wherein they can get detailed information about the movies that are available and can buy them without many complications. We also have plans to offer special discounts for our clients soon.”
Talking about the market scenario, Mr. Khakharia adds, “The demand for blu-ray discs for both Bollywood and Hollywood films is growing rapidly and we are fully equipped to make available every single title that’s available for sale in India. The pricing kept by us will be extremely competent. We foresee a swifter rise in the online blu-ray disc sales in the forthcoming six months. Indian home video companies too are trying their best to present to their buyers blu-ray discs matching international standards. The recently released blu-ray discs by BIG Home Video, Excel, Eros and Yash Raj Films are a prime example of the same. We also see a big rise in the market of South Indian films. Telugu super hit Magadheera’s blu-ray shall hit the marquee next week and we already have unprecedented demand for it.”
