September 21, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Impaired Girls and Physically Challenged Boys have given a thrilling performance on wheels to celebrate the spirit of common wealth games, which has made the viewers spellbound. The World’s First and Historic Performance such as Bharatnatyam on Wheel Chairs, Sufi Dance on Wheel Chairs, Martial Arts on wheel Chairs, Yoga on Wheel Chairs and Freedom on Wheel Chairs has enthused the heart of the audience to a different place, beyond the familiar world of televisions, films and other such entertainment.
A beautiful Bharatnatyam dance is also being performed in a reality show being telecast in Colors “India’s Got Talent Khoj 2″ by these physically handicapped and impaired boys and girls. This performance was the best among the lot and has inspired every physically challenged people. It gives a message that you can show your talent if you are strong by your heart and mind.
These shows have captivated thousands, running in packed houses across the globe. The spinning speed of the wheel chairs is faster than an accomplished ballet dancer’s spins as the moving speed of wheel chairs is 150-200 km/hr. The disabled artist’s brilliant, innovative, and aesthetically crafted dance-theatre performances are educative, motivating and entertaining.
