The Social Network emerged as one of the big winners as it bagged the awards in the categories like ‘best original score’ by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, ‘best director – Motion Picture’ by David Fincher and ‘best motion picture – drama’.

Actor Paul Giamatti won the award for ‘best actor in a motion picture- comedy or musical’ for Barney’s version. Annette Bening has bagged the ‘best actress in a motion picture- comedy or musical’ for her performance in The Kids Are All Right.

Christan Bale’s performance in The Fighter has won him the ‘best supporting actor’ award in a motion picture.

Toy Story 3 won the ‘best animated feature film’. Melissa Leo also bagged the ‘best supporting actress’ honour in a ‘motion picture- drama’ for her performance in The Fighter.

Natalie Portman’s strong and powerful performance in Black Swan brought her ‘best actress award’ in a motion picture –drama.

Colin Firth won the ‘best actor award’ in a ‘motion picture- drama’ for his performance in The King’s Speech.

Aaron Sorkin bagged the ‘best screenplay’ award for The Social Network again. Diane Warren won the ‘best original song’ award for the track ‘You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me’ from the movie Burlesque.

The Denmark made movie In a Better World bagged the ‘best foreign language film’.
