64 Year Old Cher Makes A Bold Statement At The VMAs

Sep 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In an award night where the stars in their 20s sizzled with some of the most outrageous and revealing dresses, one star proved that age is only in the mind. 64 year old managed to get the male hearts racing at the red carpet as she appeared in a see through black dress that can well be called lingerie complemented with a black leather jacket and big curly hair.
Cher was up on stage to present the award to another weirdly dressed singing sensation, Lady Gaga. The meat covered ‘Bad Romance’ bagged not only the most awards but also grabbed the eye balls with her outlandish costumes. Changing thrice in the length of the evening, Lady Gaga created a stir with a costume that exposed her backside and was made with just meat slices. Cher was seen sporting enough to acknowledge the fact that she was the oldest chick at the VMAs with the tiniest costume.
The costume was reminiscent of Cher’s controversial costume in the video of ‘If I Could Turn Back Time’. This year’s outfit was, however, an upgraded version of the previous one with jewels and glittery stuff put on it. The video of the song was banned on a number of networks back in 1989 and shown only in the late night slots for the controversial costume. In spite of being an outrageous dresser herself, the 64 year old Cher might have been reluctant to hug the ‘Paparazzi’ star after she won the award for the best Video of the year which was one of her 8 moonmen for the evening.
