London, Sep 11 (IANS) Rapper 50 Cent wants to put his tumultuous relationship with rival Kanye West behind him and is hoping to team up for a new album.
The rap rivals went head-to-head in the albums chart in 2007, and have had a difficult relationship since West’s “Graduation” album outsold 50 Cent’s “Curtis”, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The “In Da Club” hitmaker revived their feud last year by publicly slamming West for ruining Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards by jumping on stage and declaring Beyonce the true winner.
But 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, is ready to put the past behind him and hire West to work on his next release.
“Don’t even be surprised if you hear me and Kanye collaborate and make a monster this time,” he said.
