50-centJan 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) As the fans of the popular hip-hop web site WorldStarHipHop.com cued up anxiously to know the possible shut down of the web site, hip-hop superstar 50 Cent dropped a bombshell via his Twitter account claiming that he was the main force behind the temporary shut down of the portal. But adding to the already hullabaloo situation, the rapper in a telephonic interview to Hot 97 DJ Angie Martinez took back his comments and said that he was not responsible for the outage.

On Monday morning the rapper took to his Twitter account and said that he was the driving force behind the temporary break down of the web portal. The rapper then went on to make a phone call to the radio station Hot 97 where he vented out his anger on the web site which has been a 50 Cent hate-hub for ages. He accused the web portal of using his image without his permission. But later he said that he did not do it and he was not the main man responsible for the outage. Even the CEO/owner of WorldStarHipHop, Q, called up the radio station and confirmed that neither 50 Cent nor any other party was involved in the temporary breakdown. He went on to reveal that there was a sight technical glitch in the server that led to the outage.

According to sources, Q did admit of having a beef with the star rapper and that they had a ‘fall out’ a while back. He ensured the fans that the web page will be up in the next 24 hours and also thanked 50 Cent for ‘free promotion’.
