4th actor hurt during ‘Spider-Man’ production
December 21st, 2010 - 5:21 pm ICT by ANINew York, Dec 21 (ANI): Yet another actor has got hurt on the set of the trouble-plagued Broadway musical ‘Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark’.
A stunt-double for the title character fell about 30 feet into the orchestra pit during a performance, the FDNY said.
He was the fourth actor injured working on the most expensive Broadway production ever.
The 31-year-old actor, whose name was not released, fell around 10:45 p.m. during the closing minutes of the preview at the Foxwoods Theater on West 42nd Street, Web site Broadway.com reported.
He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital with minor injuries.
“All signs were good as he was taken to the hospital for observation,” the New York Post quoted spokesman Rick Miramontez as saying. (ANI)
