23-yr-old man found dead after ‘Twilight’ screening in NZ
July 5th, 2010 - 6:15 pm ICT by ANIWellington, July 5 (ANI): A 23-year-old man was found dead at Reading Cinemas in Wellington after the screening of ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.’
Wellington police spokeswoman Victoria Evans said that a cleaner found the man’s body at Reading Cinemas on Courtenay Place.
The man was slumped in his seat, and the cleaner thought he was asleep.
It is believed that the man might have attended a 6pm screening of the film and was by himself, said Evans.
At a press conference, police said the man’s death was not suspicious and he had no obvious injuries, reports stuff.co.nz.
Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Miller said the man had been informally identified, but police had not yet located his family.
The man lived in Wellington but had no fixed address, said Miller.
The theatre where he was found dead will remain closed till the examination of the scene is finished. (ANI)
