‘20/20′ Focuses On Tim Hennis Murder Case

timthumbphpSep 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The latest episode of ‘20/20′ on ABC focused on the murder case of Kathryn Eastburn and her two daughters that made the headlines in 1985. The main suspect, Tim Hennis, an ex-soldier came under the scanner in the first trial but maintained that he was innocent. After a free trial he was set free by the court. On the latest episode of ‘20/20′, Jana, the only surviving member talks about the brutal murders that took away her family. On the show, it was revealed that Tim Hennis might just have been involved in the murders.

New evidences had been found and Tim Hennis was called to court again. With the latest advancement in DNA research the court determined that the former soldier was in fact responsible for the murders. He was convicted for the triple murders. On ‘20/20′ Jana said that she was convinced that Tim Hennis was guilty of murdering her family when she was two years old. She also spoke about her life where she dealt with a past that she does not remember herself properly. This was the first time that she spoke to the media about her family after the final trial.

The show was hosted by Elizabeth Vargas and Chris Cuomo and also featured an interview of Jana’s father, Gary Eastburn. The lawyer of Tim Hennis who defended him on both the trials also spoke on the show. One of the highlights of the show was a video footage that showed the interview of Jana conducted by a child psychologist when she was just 21 months old.
