New York, Nov 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) ‘2012’ movie is an epic adventure about the global cataclysm that brings a end to the world and also tells of the heroic struggle of the brave survivors. 2012 is a disaster film, which is directed by Roland Emmerich. The film has an ensemble cast, which includes legends in their own right, John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Woody Harrelson. The film is being distributed by Columbia Pictures. The filming of the movie began in August 2008 in Vancouver. The film is being released tomorrow.

Harald Kloser and Roland Emmerich write this brilliant movie. 2012 is the latest disaster movie to revel in the destruction of the planet. Actor John Cusack plays the role of castoff father (Jackson Curtis), who is a failed novelist and struggling in his life but making ends meet by being a limo driver.

There are some weather elements thrown in the movie as well. There have been some explosions on the sun, and the neutrinos are increasing the temperature of the earth’s core and which will in turn soon destabilize the planet’s crust, giving birth to volcanoes.

Harald Kloser and Thomas Wander compose the original score of the movie. Singer Adam Lambert from the famed reality series American Idol contributed a song for the film, which is titled “Time for Miracles”. The film’s soundtracks consists of 24 offbeat tracks, like the song “Fades Like a Photograph” by Filter. The review of the background score and the music seems pretty good.

Since it is a Roland Emmerich movie so it is of course going to be eagerly awaited, and the first reviews of the movie will also be in high demand.
