New York, Nov 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) ‘2012’ movie is an epic adventure about the global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and also tells of the heroic struggle of the brave survivors. 2012 is a complete disaster and ‘end-of-the-world’ film, which is directed by Roland Emmerich. The film has an ensemble cast, which includes legends in their own right like, John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Woody Harrelson. The film is being distributed by Columbia Pictures.
The movie 2012 is written and directed by Roland Emmerich, who made mega successful films such as “Independence Day,” “Godzilla” and “The Day After Tomorrow.” Hence the expectations from his new movie on the disaster theme are enormous. But it looks like, that he isn’t able to pull it off this time around.
According to some critics, who have already seen the movie, it is a complete disaster whereas some others think that it is a must-watch. 2012 is the latest disaster movie to marvel and cash on in the destruction of the planet. Actor John Cusack plays the role of castoff father (Jackson Curtis), who is a failed novelist and struggling in his life but making ends meet by being a limo driver. His ex-wife lives with her boyfriend and their children. They bring the emotional element in this otherwise heartless and graphically directed film.
Compared with the other doomsday and disaster movies, the graphics part of ‘2012’ isn’t that breath-taking at all. Sometimes it seems downright artificial and sometimes quiet over the top too.

ever since childhood i have had a passion for science fiction and awaited this new extravaganza with beating heart. well over the top, stereotyped garbage is a mild description for this clone of american masturbatory film making. stereotyped commanders in chief, mawkish self serving phony humanist psychological games, syrupy two man one woman family porno and even a soviet style wrestler frankenstein type with twin curly haired nersish sons are part of this cow dung garbage movie that is supposed to mint millions for its makers and angels. infantile imbecilic creators and more is the name of these hollywood bollywood clones that continue to spew all over us. i have had to buy a big cork to stop my running diarrhoa which is almost incurable.. enough is enough. .
