2010 Tony Nominees Divulged

It seems amply evident that ‘Fela!’ and ‘La Cage aux Folles’ have led the catalog. Each of the two has obtained 11 thumbs up in all. A fresh play titled ‘Red’ has tagged along narrowly behind in the catalog of nominations, with a total of seven. ‘Red’ has been chosen for the Best Play award, alongside ‘In the Next Room’ (or The Vibrator Play) by Sarah Ruhl, ‘Next Fall’ by Geoffrey Nauffts, and ‘Time Stands Still’ by Donald Margulies.
Others contending in the Best Musical category consist of ‘American Idiot’ and ‘Memphis.’
It appears that there are some prominent Hollywood names amongst the nominees as well. This consists of Jude Law, Live Schreiber, Christopher Walken and Denzel Washington. Each of the abovementioned skillful actors has been nominated in the category of the Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play.
