14-year-old Patiala girl features in music album
February 11th, 2011 - 11:12 pm ICT by IANSChandigarh, Feb 11 (IANS) A 14-year-old Patiala girl featured in Bollywood-fame violinist Surindra Singh’s second album “Paisa Paisa”, the musician Singh said here Friday. The album introduced Asmita Garg, a class seven student, on the silver screen. She has sung the title song of the album. She is very enthusiastic and is expecting a good response from the audience.
Asmita said: “I love music very much and want to make a big mark in this industry. In fact, I am focused more on music as compared to studies. My family is also very supportive and I have learnt many new things from Surindra sir.”
Asmita has taken part in various TV reality shows and singing competitions and has won many awards.
“I am pleased to release ‘Paisa Paisa’. Its unique audio visual rendition and seven melodious songs will take the nation by storm and usher in an era of pure music,” said Singh while on a promotional tour here.
“Asmita is a very talented singer. She has got a beautiful voice and the title song sung by her is drawing huge response. It is already a hit on Mumbai radio stations,” stated Singh, who had earlier released album “Tumse Milkar”.
“Paisa Paisa” has been produced by Venus Records.
Singh made his mark in Indian cinema by contributing in various Bollywood movies like “Kaho Na Pyaar Hai”, “Karan Arjun”, “Koyla”, “Taarzan”, “Vijeta” and “King Uncle”.
